Tougher gun restrictions?

Should it be hard for an average person to get a gun or should it be easier.

i say that the gun restrictions that are in place are tough enough because the people that do the most damage with a gun or rifle are people like the green river killer who are outstanding citizens who get pushed over the edge or they obtain the weapons illigally and that has nothing to do with the gun restrictions in place. It takes an average of 25 to 30 minuets to fill out the paper-work and you have to pass through the FBI check-list to get a gun.

Well its interesting but, these gun restrictions are also bad because people who are criminals and will use a gun on someone won't buy them legally they will buy guns illegally and the honest person who is usually robbed won't buy illegally and that's one thing I came to realize yesterday. Criminals will always be able to buy guns no matter how tough restrictions get so it will only became an unfair balance in power for the innocent if gun restrictions became stronger because the odds of getting away will be better when people can't defend themselves.
